Avestar-IP Launches Online-Auction Monitoring Service
Avestar-IP LLC announced the availability of its automated online-auction monitoring tool EAASA (Electronic Auction Analysis and Scam Alerting), featuring advanced analytical tools to monitor and analyze online auctions for market pricing, demand, volume sellers, fraud, dumping, and other types of valuable intelligence associated with online auctions and Internet sales.

EBay is warning online people not to be fooled by a bogus email which appears as an invoice for a purchase they have supposedly made. Sian Kennedy, spokeswoman for the online auction operator, said eBay would never ask customers to click on a link to change personal information.
